All You Need to Know About Gabriel

Gabriel begins figure skating with the skating rink from Fontenay sous Bois, at five years old.   At age 8, he joined Champigny sur Marne.

Twice the Minime Champion of France (equivalent to Novice in the United States) in 1985 and 1987,  and a member of the French National Team since 1991, he became French Junior National Champion in 1995    He participates in many international competitions, including 
World Junior Championships in 1992 (16th), the 1994 Grand Prix of Saint Gervais, where he won the silver medal and 1995 Blue Swords competition in Chemnitz in 1995, where he finished first.

During his early career, Gabriel works on his technique seriously.   At 17 years of age, he passes the gold medal test which promotes him to the senior technical level in France.

Injuries which hinder his performances for several seasons, but as silver medallist at nationals in December 1999, he takes part in the European Championships in February 2000 in Vienna (Austria) where he finishes an honourable 15th place. 

But it is in 2001 that he finally wins the title of French National Champion, after one year of injury and a fourth place finish at nationals in 2000.

In addition to his skating career, Gabriel carries out a regular school course within the direction of  the School of the Children of the Spectacle, then of the I.N.S.E.P., obtaining the VAT " S " in 1995. 

Registered in " Life sciences " at the University Pierre and Marie Curie (Jussieu), he obtained the DEUG (2 Year degree) in
1999 and currently awaits his certificate in Biology.
